Marissa & Michael Wedding

Here is a wedding I shot on August 27th 2011. This is Marissa and Michael Harris in the tiny town of Lockeford, just south of Elk Grove. It's the type of town where everyone knows everyone, in fact, I think the entire town may have been at the wedding. It's funny how cultures change from town to town and family to family. I feel like an artsy anthropologist sometimes when  documenting and capturing a wedding day. Overall, this was a marvelous wedding and well put together. The scene was very nice and I had a range of backdrops to wok with. It was a 100 degree day, which is challenging, but art should be challenging.

From 2,000+ images taken at Marissa and Michael's wedding I've narrowed it down to these 200 or so that I have edited to perfection. Most of these images will go into the wedding book.
